“Pakistan has chosen peace and dialogue over confrontation. The resolution of prevailing conflicts, including those in the Middle East, Kashmir, and Palestine, is crucial for ensuring the restoration of global trust and peace. We live at a dangerous moment. But our future is certainly not predetermined. Therefore, of course, war is a choice. Peace is also a choice. And sometimes, the greater courage lies not in starting a war, but in preventing one.
Pakistan has made its choice. We have chosen dialogue over confrontation. We have chosen cooperation over coercion. We have chosen peace over war. Pakistan’s vision on pressing global and regional challenges touched upon a wide array of issues, prominently the situation in the Middle East, human rights violations and the ongoing humanitarian crises in Palestine and Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), India’s unilateral suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, the rising threat of terrorism emanating from Afghanistan, the impacts of climate change, widening economic and debt burdens on developing countries, and the urgent need for global de-escalation and dialogue.”

“Pakistan reaffirms its full support for the GDI as an important platform for solidarity, South-South cooperation and the delivery of concrete results for the developing countries. The goals of GDI also complement our own national economic transformation plan. Our cooperation with China also continues through the Belt and Road Initiative and its flagship project, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, which is now entering into its second phase. As we approach 2030, Pakistan stands ready to deepen cooperation with all partners under the GDI by replicating successful projects at scale and identifying new and innovative areas of cooperation.
Pakistan has been and will remain a firm supporter of all these very important initiatives. We look forward to continued close cooperation with our Iron Brother China and fellow members of the Group of Friends as we work together to advance the vision of a community with a shared future for mankind.”
