Nah, I disagree. Omar Abdulrahman didn't waste his talent at all. Not every great player has to move to Europe to be considered successful. He won multiple league titles, the ACL, and many trophies with Al Ain, earned excellent money, and was genuinely loved and respected at home. At his peak, his wages were among the highest in Asia and most European clubs couldn't realistically afford him without him taking a huge pay cut.
