@LukeGromen But isn’t this really dumb? I know Gromen is high respected but this seems a bad take. A fall in nominal prices is problematic in the current economic model because it’s the collateral base of the economy. Affordability in this context is more a purchasing power issue.
@GeorgeGammon Such motivated reasoning. Explain why they have sold dozens of billions of dollars for Bitcoin? This belies your point. At the margin, their demand for USD was greater than their demand for Bitcoin this week, but only so their vehicle for demanding more Bitcoin becomes safer.
Bitcoin’s value accumulation is at its highest reading since November 2022.
That was the FTX bottom.
Sentiment at all-time lows. ETF outflows at cycle records. MVRV and realised price in the bottom decile of their historical distributions.
On-chain accumulation moving in the opposite direction from all three.
Two groups. Same data. Opposite conclusions.
One is reducing exposure based on headline narrative. The other is building positions at cost-basis levels not seen since the last cycle low.
Which group has the longer time horizon and the lower cost of capital?

@martypartymusic Would be good to get your view on the general timeframe which you’d expect the fundamentals to be reflected in price, i.e when the revaluation will mostly begin. I suspect you’ll receive a number of insults because people expect Sol to revalue over night etc etc
@PiusSprenger Does no one see the fallacy here? No one can raise money like Strategy…so their purchases drag up their average price more than anyone else. Ironically their current pnl is a function of their success at raising money.
@Giovann35084111 It’s the least attractive part of the Bitcoin world for me. It makes things seem overly ideological and near-cultish. These inaccurate framings aren’t needed, Bitcoin has enough of its own innate philosophical implications.
@Breedlove22 Begs the question of what intelligence is. If it’s possessing, interpreting and using information for favourable and truthful outcomes, it is actual intelligence. This presupposes people are any different. I think most people don’t think, rather respond through word association
