The roles of Helen of Troy and Sinon in the Odyssey are minor to the point of being insignificant, especially since Sinon is not even mentioned by Homer. Instead of choosing Greek actors for these small roles, Nolan deliberately cast a woman to play a male role and an African actress to play Helen of Troy, a figure who stands as a beacon of Greek civilization.

His choices are entirely provocative. The clearest proof is that he cast Lupita Nyong’o in two roles: the sisters Helen and Clytemnestra. Lupita has never read Homer, and in every interview she disrespects the Greeks. Let’s not fool ourselves. Lupita is neither particularly beautiful nor a strong actress, and casting a woman (Ellen Page) to play the male role of Sinon is equally forced. They are simply there to fulfill Hollywood’s diversity quotas. It is obvious, and Nolan deserves all the backlash. This is not a fictional Marvel story. The Odyssey and the Iliad are the most important works of Greek culture and history. Failing to show respect to the source material and to the Greek people is the real racism.

In the end, all Nolan has achieved is to show the world how racist and anti-Greek he is. These choices will never be forgotten. Everyone will remember that when the time came to show respect for a people and their culture, he chose instead to show disrespect, hiding behind the excuse of "art."

🇺🇸 Conservatives in the U.S. are dropping the ball on the simplest layup they've had in years.

Young guys, especially young white ones, are walking away from the left big time.

The right could easily win them over for good, but only if it quits acting like they're the issue that needs fixing.

These men got frozen out of decent schools, solid jobs, and fair chances for a long time now.

Throw in nonstop immigration that drives up living costs and hands out special advantages to newcomers, and yeah, a lot of them are fed up.

The left turned bashing them into a sport. That should've handed the GOP an easy crowd, but nah, way too many on the right still trash their struggles just to sound "acceptable." Total miss.

The Trump admin is doing solid work on borders, cutting waste, and pushing back on woke stuff in schools and hiring, which is pulling a lot of these young men in.

But it needs to go further and directly call out the anti-male bias in institutions instead of just letting it slide.

These young men aren't looking for pity, but they want leaders who see what's happening and actually stand up for their shot at a future. Quit shoving them out the door.

This is a pattern, and American taxpayers are paying for it.

81% of Somali immigrant households receive welfare. Even after being in the US for 10 years or longer, 78% are still on welfare. For native households, that number is 21%.

They aren’t living the American dream. They are getting free stuff. And we are all paying for it.

Moreover, mass Somali immigration is making our communities less safe. According to researchers writing in City Journal, Somali immigrant men have an incarceration rate more than twice that of men born in the United States.

An immigration system that endangers our own people is one that needs thorough reform.

She said my question almost brought her to tears because of the hateful rhetoric.

Democrats don’t have an argument against the facts, so they attack the people who find them.

Luke Rosiak testified that 100% of the suspect Medicaid fraud companies he investigated had Somali, Bhutanese, or other African origin names. 100%.

The facts are clear: mass Somali immigration has been a catastrophic failure for American taxpayers, American communities, and American safety.

That is exactly why I introduced legislation to ban immigration from Somalia.

The NFL has had “black lives matter” painted on all the fields for years.

“End racism” on all the helmets.

They added the “Black National Anthem” to pregame.

They encouraged players to kneel during the National Anthem.

But if you even show a sliver of support for Trump, or Conservative values of any kind, the Left, and their lapdog media, will lose their ever loving minds and claim that we are bringing politics into sports.

They truly believe that their beliefs are the only acceptable ones, and that anyone who veers from their Left-wing ideology should be shamed, vilified, and cancelled. They intentionally created an environment where you are rewarded for showing support for the Left, but crucified for showing support for the Right.

It’s not that they don’t want politics in sports, they just don’t want anyone else’s politics in sports. The pendulum has swung back, and they don’t like it now.
