Wow. I’m commonly used to seeing art made from fabric, paint, canvas, foam, and such. This artist used driftwood for her art structures. Interesting. Heather Jansch
One of my classmate sent this to me as a study guide and the drawing is so pretty. Like I love how descriptive the drawing is and it’s so helpful for memorizing the testing and function for each nerve. I guess I really am a visual learner. Still can’t get over how pretty this is.
This got me thinking to how we got this mentality. From how we were raised up? From social media? From our surroundings? I’ve always wondered about this and this thought always came to my mind when I see art like this. Does anyone have any personal thoughts on this topic? 💭 🤔
What is the difference between “animal for eating” and “animals for not eating”. I was reading some articles about this topic and it really got me thinking. Why do we view eating pigs, cows, chickens a norm but the idea of eating dogs, cats, and other “pets” disgust us?
But viewing the process of art making was more intriguing to me so I think that’s why looking through art21 and doing that assignment was the most exciting for me. I got to understand that in all medium of art, the intentions, context, content is definitely very important!
This semester was a interesting one with this course! The Group Art Show was a very interesting experience because we actually got to view each others’ art pieces and through each art work, we could see what artist inspired that art #feelsomekindaway
Also I learned a lot through this group art show. My personal favorite experience was definitely the Art Review Pt. 1 because looking at all the different mediums was very interesting, especially when I did not have any background art-related knowledge.
