First full week of my PhD done and dusted. Here’s what I’ve learned so far:
• PI’s are like bigger, older kids who are just as excited about the project as you.
• You never grow out of wanting a “free” t-shirt.
• I should’ve practiced my commute before I started 😅

I sadly didn’t get into any PhD programs for the Fall. I’m looking forward to taking a break from academia but also want to focus on ways to improve my app for the next cycle. Are there Must-Do’s for this time off- research and fun related? #AcademicTwitter #phdvoice
