RIP Monty Oum — The RWBY creator would have been 45
Remembering Monty Oum, the visionary animator whose gaming‑inspired action work — Haloid, Dead Fantasy, Red vs. Blue, and RWBY — transformed online animation and influenced creators worldwide. His unmatched creativity, speed, and passion left a permanent mark on the gaming and animation community.
Tomorrow marks what would have been his 45th birthday. He tragically passed away in 2015 due to a severe allergic reaction during a medical procedure , but his legacy continues to inspire millions.
Despite my profile, my real favorite Armor Hero in recent years has been Dark Mars, primarily due to his ambiguity in how he fits within the series as a conceptual character for an unreleased movie.
How would they explore his role, his existence within the series?
alright, if tokutwt is allegedly dead, then let’s revive it! ✨

🗣️ get yapping - i’m listening! 🗣️
My personal interpretation of Dark Mars is that the armor was born out of desperation: In trying to replicate Li Haotian gaining his upgrade in his battle against Lucius, they obtained the opposite with the dishonored King Pier succumbing to the three sins and invading earth.
