My journey from Kyiv led to the #Vatican, where, among others, I discussed three important matters with @Pontifex.
1. Our primary topic was the #war. We agreed to work together to achieve a long-term, sustainable #peace as soon as possible. We also discussed what we can do together to ensure that the #children abducted from Ukraine can return home.
2. We are allies in standing up for traditional #family values and protecting children.
3. We also talked with the Holy Father about his trip to 🇭🇺 #Hungary in April, which clearly indicates that the papal visit was not a one-time event but that it impacts lasting generations.

The @WorldAthletics Championships directed the attention of the whole world to 🇭🇺 #Hungary, and many people even came to @wabudapest23 in person. Glad that in recent days I was able to personally greet @TamimBinHamad, @RTErdogan, @PopeTawadros, @IiMonaco, @avucic, @sebcoe, @JJansaSDS in the #Hungarian capital.

I wish to express my profound gratitude to my sister, Your Excellency, @KatalinNovak_HU, President of the Republic of Hungary, for honoring us with a visit to Tanzania. It has been a great pleasure to host you and you are very much welcome in Tanzania. Our bilateral meeting have been very productive with discussions around a wide range of issues of common interest and mutual benefit of our two countries and people.

My visit to #Africa has concluded. I thank @PaulKagame and @SuluhuSamia, and the wonderful people of #Rwanda🇷🇼and #Tanzania🇹🇿for their amazing welcome. Exchange programmes, #investments, strengthening relations – these were on our plates. And #womenempowerment. As I said at @WomenDeliver #WD2023, we need to help #women so they could choose #family and #career at the same time if they want, and we also need more women in public life. Criticise this, but that’s what I will continue to stand up for.
