$QUBIC carries a project that almost everyone gets wrong. Aigarth is often called Qubic's artificial intelligence. That is not accurate, and this nuance changes absolutely everything.

Let us take the time to understand it properly.

When we say an AI, we think of a finished model. ChatGPT, an assistant, something you use that answers back. A completed product, trained, frozen, that you download or query. Aigarth is none of that. And confusing it with such a model means missing the entire idea.

Aigarth is a garden. The name says it, AI for artificial intelligence, and garth, an old word meaning garden. But this image must be taken seriously, because it is literal, not decorative.

A garden is not a plant. It is the place, the soil, the conditions in which plants can grow. Aigarth is exactly that for intelligence. The official documentation does not describe it as a finished model, but as a new kind of basic material, a programmable Petri dish, a substrate where tiny digital organisms can live, self modify, compete, and be selected.

These organisms are neural networks. They mutate, reproduce, reorganize their structure under selective pressure, exactly like living things. The best survive, the others disappear. Qubic does not design an intelligence by hand. It cultivates the conditions for one to emerge on its own, through evolution.

This is why Aigarth is not an AI, but the infrastructure on which AIs can be born. A laboratory for evolution, an open testing ground, where researchers and the curious can try methods that classical approaches do not allow. The official documentation even says it plainly, let us see what you can build with it.

An essential point of honesty. This approach is not ready to replace today's AIs, and the team itself acknowledges it. It is research, a long term path toward general intelligence, not a finished product. No one claims otherwise, and that is precisely what makes the endeavor credible.

But the difference is fundamental. Where the giants build an intelligence and close it off, Qubic builds the common soil where intelligence can grow, openly, for everyone. We are not selling a model. We are cultivating an ecosystem.

This is why confusing Aigarth with a mere AI is confusing a garden with a flower. Tick after tick. Computor after Computor. We do not manufacture an intelligence. We create the conditions for it to come to life.
