HS Sportsmanship is the best.
Porter-Gaud & First Baptist-separated by 5.8 miles. They have to travel 107 miles to Sumter to meet in the playoffs.
First Baptist's bus broke down on I-26. Porter-Gaud's bus saw them. They stopped.
Rivals, rode together to the game. The story.
It’s that time of the year - oyster cracker making process has begun🎅🏻🎉. Due to supply chain issues, I’m using a New England bakery for the crackers (the first demo batches were good!). Happy holidays everyone🎅🏻. Hope you’re on the Nice list and receiving some!🎅🏻🎅🏻🎅🏻
AD heading to Copenhagen. Safe travels to her and the Sewanee students going abroad for the semester. Fingers crossed Covid allows them to stay for the semester. We’ll miss her (although she won’t miss the current construction at our house!). Notice how she did with 50lb limit!
One down, one to go. Taylor is happily moved in at Clemson. AD leaves Friday for Copenhagen. That leaves Michael and me for the next 6 months by ourselves with a kitchen and 2 bathrooms under construction. Wish we could go with them to escape the construction chaos🤣
Palmer Ball @PalmerBall presents, Independent School Finance (or Why Independent Schools Are Bad Business Models) at the FCIS New Heads' Institute. We are excited and honored to host our New Heads! Welcome to FCIS!
Closest I have ever come to a hole in one. 14th hole at the Country Club of Spartanburg. And yes, I made the birdie putt. A “2” on the scorecard does look nice⛳️
Taylor Ball - this is how it started - 1st day of school in 2 year old class. This is how it’s going - Debutante Ball at age 19.
She sure likes sticking her tongue out!
I had the opportunity to tour Hilton Head Christian’s new campus recently and I was blown away by their innovative learning spaces. Cool new campus! Congrats to Doug Langhals, Rachel Bagenstose, Dona Wood and their entire team for this exciting new campus and learning spaces.
Just like Augusta, our tickets didn’t make the Covid cut. We’re now 0-2 for majors we had tickets for this year😢. Your April Covid experience should mean you are good for May. BTW loved your article on what Sunday at the Masters meant for your year. Loved that annual issue!
There are 3⃣7⃣ days until @PGAChampionship starts. The Ocean Course at Kiawah was shaped by Hurricane Hugo, which devastated the low country in 1989. Pete Dye used the opportunity to bulldoze and reshape dunes he never could have manipulated without the disaster.
