@EDDIEDURKAN you'll get there mate, it took me years I'm still learning! An ideal setup is to compress input about 2:1 ratio with about 33% attack and release, just to avoid any nasty clipping. Keep the mic in one place (as you indentified) and use bit more comp & vocalrider at the end
