@josiah_awkward I think this makes Caine’s crash out even more devastating, too. Like, if he knew that the players had decided to accept their lives here and gave them a few days to process, they probably would have engaged with him a lot more and not treated him like an antagonist going forward
@SEA__SIDES @blissfullyyvie @AlenSeress I think it’s to do with gay flagging (a system where different colours of handkerchief worn hanging out of different pockets subtly advertised what you like in bed) - iirc red is about fisting, and worn on the left means doing the fisting (vs being the fistee)
@slaystarroyco@daddyhahnn My personal theory is that the hive CAN lie, but they act like they can’t to make the unhived characters trust them, and lie selectively. I think the things they’ve revealed so far have been strategic - not too harmful, or can be justified. Being truthful =/= incapable of lying!
@notch_night MANNNNN. It was so obvious in Chapter 1 that he wasn’t actually afraid of clowns from the way he reacted to that clown-filled room in Neibolt :(
@witchgirlmari@KaskaJessica It’s not something wildly transmisogynistic for once: Trans Rights Activist (or ‘Advocate’, or ‘Activism’, depending on the context)
