I respect a man who cleans up his socials when he's serious about someone new.
Unfollowing old flings and past situationships isn't about control or insecurity. It's about consideration and maturity
As an unmarried woman in your 30s, make sure you have something going on in your life. Have a decent job or business, live in a well-furnished apartment, look good, dress well, take care of yourself and have savings. Being unmarried does not mean you should put your life on hold while waiting for a husband.
A man who meets you in your 30s and discovers that you have nothing going on in your life may have serious questions. What exactly have you been doing all these years? Being in your 30s without any tangible progress, direction or something you are building is an unfair position to put yourself in.
You shouldn't just be sitting around hoping to find a husband, get married and have a man come and set you up financially. Marriage should be an addition to a life you are already building, not your entire plan for the future. There is nothing wrong with wanting a husband, but there is everything wrong with making marriage your only plan for your life.
When a man loses a woman who truly loved him, he doesn't always feel the loss right away.
At first, it can feel like space. No more pressure, no more hard conversations, no more feelings he has to face. He goes back to his routine and tells himself he made the right decision (1)
The only fault I can give Don design and the team is letting someone you don’t know get close to AKA, but yet again these people are not trained bodyguards.
I refuse to believe they sold AKA out.
Cat Matlala’s Explosive Draft Affidavit Implicates Bheki Cele, Sibiya And Swarts In Alleged Cash Payments And Government Lease Deals
Controversial businessman Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala has made explosive allegations in a draft affidavit, claiming that senior government officials promised to help him secure state-owned buildings to position his company for future National Health Insurance (NHI) contracts.
The allegations implicate former deputy public works minister Bernice Swarts, former deputy national police commissioner Shadrack Sibiya and former police minister Bheki Cele.
The unsigned affidavit was prepared while Matlala was in custody as part of a proposed plea agreement with the Investigating Directorate Against Corruption. The agreement, which would have required him to testify in exchange for a reduced sentence, ultimately collapsed.
Matlala claims that Sibiya arranged a meeting with Swarts at her official residence in 2023 after he had struggled for nearly two years to secure a hospital lease at the SAPS Tshwane campus.
During the meeting, Swarts allegedly promised to assist him in obtaining the lease and additional government buildings through the Department of Public Works.
Matlala claims the arrangement would have allowed his company, Medicare24, to establish a presence ahead of the implementation of NHI and improve its chances of securing government contracts.
He further alleges that he gave Sibiya R80,000 at OR Tambo International Airport, supposedly for Swarts to purchase alcohol for a traditional ceremony. He claims a further R200,000 was paid in connection with the lease, which was allegedly signed in December 2023.
The affidavit also contains allegations of payments linked to Medicare24's controversial SAPS medical services tender, initially valued at R360 million.
Matlala claims he made regular payments of R50,000 to SAPS employee Brian Neville Cartwright and handed Sibiya substantial amounts of cash, including R500,000 payments.
He also alleges that he supplied 20 impalas as part of his dealings with officials.
In separate allegations involving Cele, Matlala claims he agreed to pay the former police minister R1 million after a raid by the Political Killings Task Team in December 2024.
He alleges that R700,000 was handed over in a Woolworths shopping bag at a Menlyn Maine penthouse in January 2025, with the remaining R300,000 paid later in Durban.
Matlala further claims Cele subsequently raised the possibility of purchasing a R6 million property in Trafalgar and requested additional money for vehicle repairs, which he says he refused.
Swarts has strongly denied the allegations, insisting that she never met Matlala or assisted him in securing government leases.
Cele has previously denied receiving money from Matlala, although he acknowledged staying at the businessman's Menlyn penthouse free of charge.
The allegations have not been tested in court, and the unsigned affidavit does not establish that the named officials received the alleged payments.
The claims emerge amid ongoing scrutiny of Matlala's business dealings, including the cancelled Medicare24 SAPS tender, under which approximately R228 million was reportedly paid before the contract was terminated.
Guys, AKA's case is ongoing. It continues today at 11:30. Let me break it down so you understand where it's are at now.
The prosecution team lead, Mr Gcaba, has spent quite a bit of time proving to the court that:
1. They have the right people.
2. It was premeditated murder, not a coincidence.
They did this by showing a spotter at the airport when AKA and his team arrived, to the car hire, on the tolls, and at the Garden Court Hotel in Umhlanga. A grey BMW kept following them.
Only when AKA got to the hotel was a VW Polo introduced into the picture, with the killers now taking over the tracing from the BMW guy.
The state is now at Wish restaurant. When Tibz was, without knowing AKA was in the same vicinity, and where the killers kept doing walkabouts trying to clear for the execution. More questions have been raised about AKA security guard so far, his protection of Jim remains questionable.
All that we saw in 2023, we are now being taken through just minutes before it happened. All I can say, the NPA has a clean case, clean-clean. The judge is female, she takes no nonsense and doesn't tolerate people wasting time and nonsensical objections.
@akaworldwide and Tibz will get justice, at this rate, sooner than that #SenzoMeyiwTrial #SouthAfricans
