Multiple heroic firefighters were attacked today while responding to a fire in North Idaho. This is a heinous direct assault on our brave firefighters. I ask all Idahoans to pray for them and their families as we wait to learn more. Teresa and I are heartbroken.

As this situation is still developing, please stay clear from the area to allow law enforcement and firefighters to do their jobs.

@ReedTimmerAccu @accuweather Reed if you're planning on driving north thru NH on I-93 and/or I-293 thru Manchester, be careful-the highway follows the Merrimack River and then the Pemigewasset River which can flood in low lying areas. There's been flooding in Franklin. Safe travels!

This is the view from the Langdon Street Bridge in Montpelier about 30 minutes ago. Many roads closed in the city because of flooding & neighboring communities like Barre are getting hit hard. It will be a long night for those businesses, farms & residents along the Winooski.
