A leader stands up for others, especially when it is difficult. A coward coerces, shames, threatens, and divides people to get compliance. The deepest divisions in our society were not created by ordinary Canadians with different opinions. They were created when those in positions of power encouraged people to view their family, friends, and neighbours as the enemy instead of engaging them with honesty, humility, and respect. Strong leaders unite people around shared principles. Weak leaders divide people for their advantage. Look around and ask yourself who is genuinely trying to bring people together, even those with different views, and who continues to gaslight, shame, and vilify those who disagree. Their actions tell you everything.

SHOCKING: CFIA allegedly THREATENED to delay or WITHHOLD compensation to framers if they testified at the NCI Former Federal Justice Minister, Hon. Kerry-Lynne Findlay, testified under oath at the National Citizens Inquiry in Kelowna about farmers she spoke to who backed out of testifying because they were "directly threatened" by the CFIA. Federal institutions should not be threatening farmers to keep them from speaking publicly!

Canadians should never fear persecution for sincerely held beliefs. This is why I have fought Bill C-9 from the beginning. While the Liberals claim it provides protection, people of faith across Canada are reaching out by the thousands with deep concern about how this bill will impact their ability to practice their faith freely. The government is elected by the people, and it's time that they listen to the people who will be impacted by this legislation, instead they have taken every action to limit debate. As we approach the stage of the final vote, I will not support Bill C-9, because freedom is foundational to our democracy.
