You are a holy and dearly loved child of your heavenly Father.
You are wonderfully made.
You are a treasure.
You are beautiful.
You are fully known by Him and lavishly loved by Him.

Today, we can wrestle with feelings of not being good enough or we can trust that God already knows how much we need Him. He's not asking us to do this life without Him. And with Jesus, we are better than good enough because He steps in and fulfills what we cannot do on our own.

Truth we can remind our hearts of today: We don’t have to be afraid of the things we don’t know when we remember the perfect capabilities of the One we do know.

Our God is good. Our God is faithful. Our God is forever by our side.

Satan wants us to believe the lie that we can’t trust God to work things out. But God wants us to remember He can make a way.

Here is a simple verse we can put on repeat tonight:

“In you, Lord my God, I put my trust.” Psalm 25:1

We all have the choice. We can let our past hurts continue to haunt and damage us or we can allow forgiveness to pave the way for us to be more compassionate toward others.

Oh, Lord. Help us choose wisely.

God never intended for us to rely on others for our sense of well-being. Only He is equipped to provide that.

Forgiving others can be hard. But I'm learning it takes just as much energy to stay bitter as it does to walk the path of forgiveness.

Forgiveness frees us to walk a much less exhausting path - allowing our souls to exhale & untangle as we stop recalling resentments over & over.

The pursuit of perfection leads to pretending.

Pretending encourages others to chase perfection.

And it's just all so very exhausting.

Let's give each other the gift of transparency and grace as we pursue Jesus. Because perfection doesn’t exist on this side of eternity.

God is good at being God.

We don’t have to try to fix what He hasn’t assigned us to fix. No need to manipulate, control or spend all our emotions trying to figure it out.

We can let Him be God & free ourselves from the impossible assignment of trying to keep it all together.
