Addressing the 'elephant in the room' — or should we say 'the car on the walkway'? 🐘🚗

As a friendly reminder: The Ravenel Bridge pedestrian path is strictly for foot-traffic and bicycles only! 🚶‍♂️🚴‍♀️ No motorized vehicles, skateboards, in-line skates, or similar gadgets are allowed (except for electric wheelchairs or devices for those with disabilities, or vehicles on official business). And while there was a widely viewed incident yesterday (yes, we’ve seen the videos), we're seriously thankful everyone's safe and no one was injured. So, remember, unless you're pedaling or pacing it on foot, this isn't your space.

CPD is working with Traffic and Transportation and the Department of Transportation to recommend modifications to the area.

Let's keep those vehicles off the path; the answer is a resounding 'no' to anything with an engine on the walkway.
