@hutchinson I am from Maine, the tattoo issue and his response, played on every local news channel. He does many events around here, and they are packed. He has Mainer's attention. He is running purple in an oft divided state.. holding and nurturing the attention of both sides.
@suchnerve ASD levels are a way for insurance to easily approve not approve aiding an autistic individual. This weird internet trend of declaring our levels only hurts the community as a whole. Not to mention our "levels" are not set in stone, they change with life circumstance.
@DiaryofaSickGrl Scentlok Laundry soap works a wonder. It is made for killing scents in clothing for hunting purposes and I've had it work on killing everything from detergent scents to mildew scents.
@_sorrengailll I use a few similar oils and lotions on my hands and feet.. but I just don't see a point of making my hands overly dependant on product.. when I can use better and more cost effective stuff at home. I have very strong natural nails that grow beautifully shaped.
@Autistic_Lauren Am I able? Sure. Should I? Not on your life. My anxiety levels on the road are much to high and the urge to get way out of the way of anything bigger is real.
@Autistic_Lauren I have a handful of lifelong ones and then ones I consider more of a hyper focus that I invest in for a shorter period and it falls off after 3-6 months.
@theamelia__ Sat at the table til a reasonable amount was gone.. I learned quickly to mash things tiny and swallow the bites hole while holding my nose.. usually would coat the inside of my mouth with butter to avoid the texture/taste.
@Autistic_Lauren Cold Cheese, Cheese Cake, Battered Fish or chicken (breaded is fine), Okra, Anything that bursts in my mouth when I bite it (gushers, overly sauced pizza, and so on), cereal that has been wetted too long, Gummies.. the list is long.
@Comrade_Del You are asking a question that is going to be unique to each person that holds her in high regard. We all find inspiration in people in our own individual ways.. and see strengths and value in those people that others may not.
