Russian diesel exports on a monthly basis fell by 25% in September (days 1-27) from the peak observed in March 2023. Total Russian diesel exports have soared 15% higher Jan-Sep 2023 compared to Jan-Sep 2022 however daily loadings have reduced in the last few days.
Russian diesel continues to find an increasingly large home in Turkey as mainland Europe's sanctions continue to bite. At the same time, Turkish diesel exports to mainland Europe have also elevated..

Preliminary data from #Vortexa for September 1-16 is showing a fall in Russian diesel exports from the Baltic and a rise from the Black Sea. Seasonal low point in exports is October, which could lead to some downside. Diesel sales likely to be maximized for income.
