@maggie_tat @LozzaFox I was Royal Navy, was taught it for November ceremonies, D Day celebrations, Freedom of the City etc… I think here the point is it was a gesture, rather than just a ‘neat’ way of putting rifles on the floor. Depends who your ceremonial trainers are I guess.

Dozens. then you get selected for another event 3 years later, retrain all over again etc..
