Father, Husband, Community Leader, and Commissioner of the VA Department of Labor and Industry working to make our Commonwealth a better place to live and work.
I’m extremely grateful for @GovernorVA’s appointment as it gives me the opportunity to serve my all of my fellow Virginians. I hope you'll keep up with me and my team at #DOLI as we try to make our Commonwealth a better place for working Virginians!
I hope you all had a Happy Labor Day! I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support over the years, and let you know that I've been servicing the Commonwealth as the Commissioner of the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry in @GovernorVA’s administration.
Actually, I support background checks. Shame on @kmurphyva for this blatant lie.
When I’m in office I’ll do everything in my power to both keep guns out of the hands of criminals AND protect the rights of law abiding citizens.
I’m an engineer—I fix problems for a living.
My opponent’s party is so extreme that it routinely invents more problems rather than fixing real, existing problems.
Elect me and I will go down to Richmond and reach across the aisle to find real solutions. #WhatsBehindTheYardSign
Safety and education are the backbone of my platform.
Everyday I will fight to keep you safe and create more opportunities for our kids. I will support our law enforcement, invest in early education, and build more TJs.
#WhatsBehindTheYardSign
You’ve seen my yard signs throughout the district, but what’s behind the yard sign?
Over the next week I’ll discuss my platform and tell you exactly #WhatsBehindTheYardSign!
When I decided to run, I knew I was entering politics at a time when the climate was especially nasty. I expected heated debate over the issues with my opposition.
But I never expected to receive a message like this, or for this type of hate to take root in our own community.
Racism and bigotry have absolutely no place in our community. Hate of any kind has no place.
My main reason for running is to try to bring civility back to politics. It doesn’t have to be this way—at some point we have to come together to solve real problems.
This is the bigoted behavior that a number of our candidates must endure from the extremist wing of the Democrat Party. Stay strong, Gary, and continue to speak truth to power.
Last night, my opponent's supporters vandalized the roads and destroyed our yard signs outside of our Meet and Greet in the River Crest neighborhood of Sterling.
On top of this, they harassed the caterer and guests.
@kmurphyva, do you support this kind of behavior?
When confronted, the vandals blocked their faces with @kmurphyva's signs.
I am deeply disturbed at the level of hate and divisiveness on display and hope my opponent will strongly condemn this behavior and reign in her supporters.
