It’s fascinating to see how many people were surprised by just how loud the roar was when Lewis Hamilton overtook Isack Hadjar. That roar was probably one of the loudest a driver could ever receive, even compared to the kind of cheer they get at their home race.

Lewis Hamilton wasn’t just representing Mercedes during his time with the team. He was also representing Petronas and we will never forget everything he did during those years. The memories he gave us, the countless times he visited Malaysia and the connection he built with our country. He’s basically an honorary Malaysian.

The roar you heard for Lewis Hamilton wasn’t just the sound of fans cheering for a driver. It was the roar of a people who had been waiting to welcome him home! ❤️🇲🇾
