Pitch mistakes to avoid, a thread from a former development exec (moi):
1- Your pitch is confusing. This is the thing I saw the most often in hundreds of pitches. You know this story so well, but you only have a few minutes to convey it to me. Pause, then ask the exec, "Are you with me?"

The mass gaslighting that millenial women have experienced is insane. We grew up during a time when every depiction of women in popular media was that they’re marriage and baby crazy at a great annoyance to men, that wives were “the old ball and chain” and our expectations of commitment were neurotic and asking too much. Now that women are opting out of marriage with men who claimed they don’t want to marry us, suddenly it’s a “crisis.” Where was this “crisis” when men were actively resentful of the sacrament of marriage?
