We urge His Excellence Lt. Governor @manojsinha_ , @DrJitendraSingh to ammend the J&K Rural Development (Sub-ordinate) Recruitment Rules, 2007 by way of enhancing the initial Grade Pay of Secretary Panchayat to 4200 and also changing the basic qualification to Graduation @jkrddpr

J&K, a UT where nearly 73% of population inhabit rural areas, 90% of which relies on the schemes of @jkrddpr which are being implemented by a team of dedicated/ hardworking Secretary Panchayats has to bear the brunt/repercussions of unjustified Grade Pay @diprjk

Seceratery panchayat is the only office holder at gross root level,having disbursing power,acts as a nodal officer for different programs initiated by Govt from time to time. Grade pay is not mearly a mean of raising basic salary but this is for uplifting our diginity.
