Riding my bike is fast becoming an integral part of my commuting, general transport and pleasure. Why not plan a little for the good days and be a little carbon kinder! #itseasybeinggreen#brumbybike#cycletowork https://t.co/svBprdStlV
Do you have an old bike in the shed that you'd like to give to charity? We're running a one-day pop-up bike donation event with The Bike Project at Roundhouse Birmingham. After a full refurbishment, donated bikes get given to a refugee or someone seeking asylum. 1/2
@2wheelsgoodBrum@BromptonHire It is vital. Such a great scheme. User guides and maintenence need reviewing in Bham. The instructions for return are out of date. I'd say a good scrub all round is required in Brum
@BWMnetwork @gigglesther@BromptonHire Oh definitely urban. I used it to commute to London, do flat laps and pootle about the city. The thing itself was OK, it was the state of the docks, maintenence and bike condition that was sad.
@gigglesther@BromptonHire There is so much promise there, but the system and basic quality needs a significant boost. These were major docks too at New St and Moor st ๐
Come for a social cycle commute to Centenary Lounge! Meeting at Wednesday morning at Bournville Station canalside on the Mary Vale Road for a 7:15 departure more info here https://t.co/Gx4vHg3THq @ecobirmingham#brumbybike#cyclehappy#commutercycle https://t.co/qjDIcjJtQR
Lovely to see this bunch again... even though I took them a little round the Wreakin, with getting the river, canal and Cannon Hill in for a morning commute! Traffic lights were not in my favour though! ๐คฃ #brumbybike#cyclebirmingham#ditchthecar@ecobirmingham
Tomorrow morning at 7:15am, we meet at Bournville Station canalside (Mary Vale Rd) for a social saunter into the city. Come along for the chats, chortles and cheery start to your day #ditchthecar#commutebybike#brumbybike@ecobirmingham https://t.co/yoiS9k34eA
First longer ride since my run in with covid... Brum was kind to me... apart from disaster route off Hurst st and Kent St... mild chaos! ๐คช #brumbybike#birminghamcycling https://t.co/OzklHg7z2f
Before Covid got me I got another 100km solo done. Stirchley > Stratford loop. I wouldn't have done this years ago & it felt mega. Put "Babs" through her paces on the canalside (may avoid next time) Planning the next one #warwickshire#ncn#cycle#bicycle#cyclewestmidlands
