Well, he's done it. With just hours left in his presidency, Biden issued preemptive pardons for Dr. Fauci, Mark Milley and the entire J6 committee.

It's really not a surprise. We knew it was likely going to happen.

It may not be so bad. First of all, the pardoned, if subpoenaed by Congress, does not offer 5th amendment protection so these jerks have to tell the truth.

Second, our understanding is these are federal pardons, meaning states and other countries can still punish these evil people and the pardon does not protect them against that. If anyone has more details on this aspect, let us know in the comments.
