@CelsDucks@DucksKeys I wouldn’t put any fault on a player dealing with lowball offers to take the biggest AAV in NHL history, that’s some brain you’ve got there.
@PassingDrill@STLBluesMuse And retaliatory offer sheets KK, was fun drama. Army does probably have the most success in recent history, which is showing other GMs it works. Weak FA market also encourages it.
@nickbaird310@M_Meyer3 He’s 26 and doesn’t move the needle. It’s more about your call ups being the kids you think have full time NHL futures to show what they’ve got, IMO.
@matthews2hell Ope, you done fucked up your hockey cred. Let me help! Gudas was injured and not supposed to dress that night. Dressed just to take the hits - total bitch move!
@JustinScottx89 It’s the most expensive position to acquire outside of drafting / development. If 2 or 3 players reach 2C potential, you have to move someone and get a big return. Half the league needs a legit 2C. Idk how having value could be a detriment at all.
@lkorac10@RandyKarraker Right on. Some of the wording I’ve seen felt split between a dollar amount or just not wanting to come here. Although if he was, I’m not sure we’d be happy about the price tag anyways. Thanks Lou!
@ducks2007quack@fults91@twelcher15 They were the 2nd best 5 on 5 team in the NHL down the stretch. I don’t think they believe they need to rebuild at all if that top line stays healthy.
@AKBeardofSports@JeffMarek 32 coaches with 5-6 opportunities any given year. Top 15 coaches will always land a job, and none of them want to go somewhere that doesn’t let them talk to other teams. Why would they?
@AKBeardofSports@JeffMarek They can, but every coach knows they will be fired at some point. No top coach will want to entertain Vegas now. They’ll be stuck with B tier coaches trying to prove they belong.
