Only reason why this game was even relevant at all was because this was the first time American audiences had the chance to play as Broly...
Except it was only in his base form. Legendary Super Saiyan was locked behind a special move and that's it.
If you ever wondered what the worst #DBZ game is, it's Taiketsu for the Game Boy Advance and it's not even a competition.
Disgusting 3D-model graphics, barely anything to really do, and "fighting" that can be cheesed through, this game just sucks horribly.
Worst game ever.
The pilot has my favorite adaptation of Kite's interaction with Gon. Wonderfully animated and captures how somber and momentous the occasion was.
[All screenshots taken from the pilot have been artificially enhanced.]
DYK #HunterXHunter had a pilot episode that aired a whole year before the 1999 anime?
It's beautifully animated by Studio Pierrot and adapts the manga faithfully except for two key differences: Gon's outfit and a giant sea creature attacks the crew.
Gon has a couple of different outfits in the pilot, the first one being this open blue shirt with yellow undershirt that I actually really love.
Drew some fanart of it that I even used for the thumbnail of my analysis video.
