I know this is Twitter but we can do it, apply logic and reason while reading/digesting the entire tweet/blog about a few West Tennessee flurries. This isn't a crowded theater and no one is yelling fire.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Y’all better do something to stop this!!! We’re going to have cars sliding into kid when they trick or treat!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!
It’s all over but the freezing. Light rain will still fall, but our attn is now going to turn to temps. We expect them to crater over the next few hours. METARS temp data is right in line. It’s currently 33º in Memphis and 53º in Nashville. Snow starts around 9pm accums < 1" ^wm
There are no quick answers. But by embracing nuance. showing patience with complexity, and committing to future study, we can discern. Then we can rest well, having planned with confidence and contingency.
Nuggs from @NWSNashville conf call:
*winds strong this weekend. Wind chills Sunday in the teens.
*combination of snow and temperatures rapidly falling could create more travel impacts than just the snow late Sat/Sun AM
*current snow forecast/worst case (subject to change)👇
