@amazonIN@AmazonHelp I need an urgent escalation regarding unauthorised Amazon Pay Later transactions on my account.
This is not a normal customer-service issue. I have discovered two transactions on Zepto that I did not make or authorise, totalling ₹42,415.
The sequence is extremely concerning.
A few weeks ago, I received an automated call from Amazon in the middle of the night informing me that someone was trying to access my Amazon account. I immediately denied that it was me.
Amazon subsequently temporarily blocked my account.
At the time, I wasn’t shopping, so I did not pursue the matter further.
Today I received a message from Axio stating that I had an outstanding amount of ₹54,471.
This came as a shock because my legitimate Amazon Pay Later outstanding was only around ₹12,000, including my existing instalments.
After regaining access to my Amazon account, I discovered:
• ₹28,747 — unauthorised Zepto transaction
• ₹13,668 — unauthorised Zepto transaction
Total: ₹42,415
I did NOT make or authorise either transaction.
I immediately contacted Amazon Customer Service. After being transferred between multiple teams, a dispute was finally registered.
Complaint ID: D547240194
I was told the matter would be investigated.
However, the dispute was then closed/dismissed almost immediately, with Amazon stating that no fraud activity was found.
How can a case involving two transactions I did not make, combined with a prior Amazon security alert and temporary account block, be dismissed without a proper investigation?
I am extremely frustrated and stressed by this situation.
I am asking @amazonIN@AmazonHelp to:
Reopen and properly investigate complaint D547240194
Investigate how these two Zepto transactions were authorised
Provide the transaction/order/device/login details associated with them
Remove the unauthorised amount from my Amazon Pay Later liability while the investigation is ongoing
Explain why the original fraud dispute was dismissed
I am requesting a proper human review and written resolution, not another automated response.

I am happy to provide all relevant documentation privately through the appropriate channel. @RBI@Cyberdost
@AmazonHelp The shared link doesn’t lead me anywhere except the app homepage. Please don’t waste my time. I am going to escalate this to RBI and cyber crime.
I have already connected with your customer support team multiple times and went through the entire process. The fraud dispute was registered under complaint ID D547240194 and was subsequently dismissed, despite two unauthorised transactions totalling ₹42,415.
I am not looking to repeat the same customer-service process. I need this escalated to the appropriate fraud/security and grievance team for a proper investigation and resolution. Please review the existing complaint and all records associated with it rather than directing me back to the same support process. I am happy to provide any additional information required through a secure channel.
