@Ayubberry2@WelBeast Last year when we resigned him to a higher wage but no additional years it should have been clear that he wants a fresh start and we're doing right by him. The fact they're getting even that much is honestly impressive, a good deal for everyone
@NifPro@viteri_elias@Vana_Tyr@xPodrii The rule is in "situations of conflict" so it's pretty subjective, Ref has to hear it or see signs of conflict or have the opposition report it so the ref can check VAR like the Mexico-Ecuador game
@albertdecino@JFreshHockey They kept taking to game 7 the eventual winner/finalist basically every year in the first round so they look a lot worse than they actually were. Healthy Muzzin, more secondary scoring/ spreading the lines better so they didn't lock down the top lines with no threat
@BayernEdge@NoodleHairCR7 Thierry's game was built around his speed so age would affect him way more than someone like Ibra who could be fast but also didn't depend on how his speed
@Bigtimi06@AnythingArs_ He wasn't playing out of position, he's played RB since Valencia, think he's even played LB for him. Rest of the point still stands don't blame a young player for making a young player mistake, especially when he was quite good outside of that
@DeanJamesAFC@SlumpMacTen@ZPheasant10495 I believe the rule is if the transfer was mandatory and not an option it's still recorded as a transfer for that window hence why it was an "option"
@FutGodzy@ryanfcb23 That's pretty standard, maybe even "cheap", for La Liga since all players are required to have one. Ferran Torres has a 1 billion release in his
@RedDevilWazza@osundeandrew20@FabrizioRomano He's not asking for a raise on his current salary he wants a raise on their offer, Juventus is cutting salary across the board and is capping themselves on a 7mil per year ceiling and They offered him 6 but he wants 8.
@EricStoner2025@Barrelldelphia@ScottKacsmar Players don't get paid on talent, they get paid on their importance to the team and whatever the salary cap is at the time. Love, Lawrence, Goff, Purdy, etc. earn more than multi MVP winner Lamar because he signed in 2023. If he becomes their top rusher he'll get close to Myles
@younghoff4real@DrakeMT@tim_dan23 Wild how that Columbus team's coach is the current coach of the Golden Knights that look like the best team in the league. Also had a comparable regular season record and 3rd best defense. Maybe wasn't that simple of a series?
@aragon1500@exlegion019@blutterfyfinger Amount of the budget to include celebrities leading to cuts in other areas such as shoddy animation. Demon Slayer is lauded for its animation but has a budget a fraction the size of Invincible partially because of VA and probably the insane work schedule of Japanese animation
@aragon1500@exlegion019@blutterfyfinger Wouldn't really call Steve Yeun, JK Simmons, Walt Goggins, or Gillian Jacobs b listers. Also not trying to discredit their VA work, they also seem to be like Lillard actually invested in VA work. Invincible just works well to highlight the issue with VA taking a disproportionate
@TheCheeseKing__@SpencerRasmuss8@jasonj_yule 25mil seems to be around the market for those season stats. Devonta Smith, Sutton, and Jameson Williams who all got between 1000-1117 yards and are between 23-26.6 per year. Big difference is they're all way more reliable so maybe 18mil with more bonus incentives?
@DavidEs62787060@MrMoon198587 Kind of missing the point there chief, animation gets very little budget, going back to Invincible around 2.5mil per episode vs 60 mil for Rings of Power apparently. Then you're spreading that already thin budget on inflated VA fees simply because of their name
@DavidEs62787060@MrMoon198587 Not really critiquing anyone in particular, celebrity VA don't typically have the range, talent, or experience that traditional VA have and don't elevate them in the same way. Sometimes they're honestly detrimental like Invincible having a huge budget but pretty bad animation
@exlegion019@blutterfyfinger He's not referring to himself, he's referring to the current trend in American animation. Invincible is a good example albeit slightly different issue, it has some garbage animation but one of the highest budgets because of celebrity voice casting
@GreatmenArs@CoastAl5654648 Playing through injury because he had to doesn't mean be should have started. Ref didn't card Mosquera to avoid the "double jeopardy" on the penalty tackle but it's assumed he could be sent of for much softer offense later and that's why they took him off immediately
