But the truth is the camera is in that one spot. so while you have "3D," you don't have the depth perception of reality. So it's like you're sitting there with an absolute giant woman on top of you.

@mkerobert I've got an Oculus Rift S. The best games you can play on the Quest: Beat Saber, Population One, Superhot. If you've got a PC that can handle it, I HIGHLY recommend Phasmophobia, Half-Life Alyx and Elite Dangerous.
