Week 4 || Panthers 21 Niners 16

It seemed like dejavú for a 3rd straight time, but CMC went off for a 194 total yards. His number would be called again and again even leading the team in receiving yards. We won, but something has to be done to fix our passing attack (3 INTs).

Week 3 || Panthers 7 Saints 20

It was a day to forget for Moorman. His 4 INTs set a career high for the young QB. The defense did all they could to limit the damage. Rookie MLB Barrett even scored on a fumble recovery. These 2 division losses could prove costly.

Week 2 || Panthers 13 Buccaneers 21

It was a close contest like we have been accustomed to with these two teams. The difference was how well Tampa kept moving the chains, especially on 4th down.

Week 1 || Panthers 24 Rams 17

Moorman starts off the season with a solid 276 yds and 3 TDs leading the way for a Panthers victory. Brian Burns led the defense with 2 sacks and a forced fumble. Next week we go against a division rival in the Buccaneers.

Week 17 || Panthers 27 Eagles 16

The team finished the season strong. The defense picked off Wentz 5 times and rookie Moorman threw for 350 yds 3 TDs. Despite not making the playoffs the team still performed better than last season on every category.

Week 16 || Panthers 28 Dolphins 17

We come away with the W despite being more than doubled on time of possession. Miami had a 17 play drive at one point. Moore and Samuel helped us keep pace and a pick six by Westry gave us the lead for good.

Week 15 || Panthers 24 WFT 9

We snap our 3 game losing streak with a solid victory over a red hot Washington team. CMC ran for 112 yards averaging 8.6 yds a carry. It might be too little too late for the playoffs. We will still look to finish the season strong.

Week 14 || Panthers 3 Buccaneers 20

Bucs went on several long time consuming drives vs our defense. Not many yards were given up, but we could not get Brady and the offense off the field. 3 TDs by RoJo were enough as our offense was stagnant not scoring any TDs.

Week 13 || Panthers 21 Cowboys 31

Our defense has had trouble stopping offenses lately and it continues vs Dallas. Prescott throws for 338 yds and 4 TDs with Zeke adding 95 yds rushing. Next we face a must win vs division rival Buccaneers.

Week 12 || Panthers 21 Giants 39

The Giants were unstoppable. We could not contain Saquon (4 TDs) and Trubisky with a near perfect QB rating 21/22 311 yds 2TDs. New York scored on every possession. The loss has us even with Tampa with a 7-4 record.

Week 11 || Panthers 37 Falcons 30

The Falcons nearly came out of this high scoring game with a W, but Moorman and CMC would not allow it. The rookie QB had some clutch throws and CMC a game winning TD run on the last drive. Montgomery’s Hail Mary attempt was swatted away.

Week 10 || Panthers 34 Saints 18

A balanced offense and an opportunistic defense was the recipe for success vs the Saints. CMC had 2 TDs and the defense 3 INTs including a pick six. Taysom Hill throwing for 372 yds is troubling even if it was part of the game plan.

Week 9 || Panthers 17 Buccaneers 24

We lose our second straight game and with the same score line. Both offenses had several long time consuming drives. In the end the Bucs got 3 TDs to our 2. Brady was near perfect only missing two throws.

Week 7 || Panthers 17 Bills 24

We come out on the losing end of a great game. Our WRs struggled to get open for Moorman so CMC kept us in the game with 2 TDs. The high octane Bills offense threw 4 INTs, but also threw for 351 yds and 3 TDs which were enough on this night.

Week 6 || Panthers 26 Saints 7

A balanced offense and a solid defensive effort gave us the W over a division rival. Moorman throws for 253 yds and 2 TDs. Chris Westry was the standout on defense with 2 timely INTs. Brian Burns and Derrick Brown each with 2 sacks of Taysom Hill.

Week 5 || Panthers 34 Packers 17

DJ Moore exploded for 178 yds and 2 TDs helping Moorman reach over 350 yds passing for the first time in his career. The rookie also found Samuel on a beautiful throw down the middle for his 3rd passing TD. The defense got 4 INTs from Love.

Week 4 || Panthers 34 Jets 3

Moorman had his first career perfect passer rating with 3 TDs and 267 yds. The defense hounded Sam Darnold. We were constantly in the backfield disrupting plays. 7 sacks and a forced fumble were the result in a dominant victory.

Overall great team win over New England. CMC had 3 total TDs while the defense sacked Cam Newton five times and picked him off once. Rookie QB Moorman seems more and more confortable with each start.

Week 2 || Panthers 16 Falcons 14

Moorman threw his first career TD pass and led his first career game winning drive setting up Slye for the wining FG. Newcomer Eric Ebron was key hauling in 6 catches for 110 yds. The defense picked Ryan off twice allowing only 150 passing yds.

Offense struggles as Arizona’s defense intercepted our rookie QB twice and scored 2 TDs from fumbles by Anderson and Ebron. Our defense managed 4 sacks, 2 INTs and a TD, but the offense dug too big a hole early in the game.
