Tejaswin Shankar became the first Indian ever to win a medal in the men's decathlon at the CWG, claiming bronze with a total of 7976 points at Glasgow 2026.

At the last edition, he won bronze in the High Jump. This time, he took on the ultimate challenge - 10 events over two days, and delivered, including two lifetime best performances, to bring home another bronze.
