🇺🇦 A spokesperson from Cockerill confirmed to me at Eurosatory that the company has been contracted to deliver 30 C3105 turret to Ukraine to be mounted on the countries Leopard 1 main battle tanks.

The first five systems will be delivered in June of 2027 with the remainder to be delivered by the end of 2027.

It is currently not clear who is paying for this contract.

Reportedly, Hyundai Rotem is increasing production by 25% by converting two railway factories into tank factories due to a surge in global demand and large orders for the K2. Currently, a significant portion of Poland's second order for 116 K2GFs is already in production, and discussions are underway with additional countries in Asia, the Middle East, and Northern Europe, as well as Canada, in addition to Peru, Iraq, and Romania.
Hyundai Rotem is preparing to sign a formal contract with the Peruvian Army this year for 54 K2s and 141 K808 APCs.
Romania is reportedly considering purchasing 216 K2 tanks and 76 support vehicles, while Iraq is also said to be considering purchasing 250 K2 tanks.The scale of the tank project with Iraq is projected to be approximately 9 trillion Korean won.
Ultimately, this means Hyundai Rotem's main battle tank production capacity will reach 15 units per month, and as far as I know, this will likely make them the world's number one producer of 3.5th generation main battle tanks.
Of course, Hyundai Rotem is also reaping significant profits in the electric train, tram, and train sectors.

New promotional video of the HITFIST 30UL by Leonardo, looks like the turret has finally reached the prototype stage, this turret is meant for amphibious platforms and other lightweight vehicles. The IDV SuperAV is the first platform the HITFIST 30 UL will be installed on.

Latvian Defence Minister Raivis Melnis will personally test the new ASCOD Hunter infantry fighting vehicle.🧐

The first production ASCOD Hunter armored vehicle from Santa Barbara has arrived in Latvia, where the Israeli Elbit UT30 turret will be assembled and tests will be conducted. The Latvian ASCOD Hunters will be completed at the Patria plant in Valmiera, Latvia. The installation of Israeli turrets in Latvia helps circumvent the Spanish embargo on Israeli industry. The Latvian ASCOD is the latest generation of the Santa Barbara armored vehicle family and weighs approximately 40 tons. Two more ASCOD Hunter vehicles will be delivered to Latvia in June.
