“I’ve had such a blessed NBA experience. The individual accomplishments, the championships, the fact that I’ve been able to represent the franchise — single franchise for my entire career — which means something to me. But I think from a fan perspective, I’d still meet people that talk about the 74-75 Warriors team and where they were when they won that championship and what it meant to represent The Bay. We’re still in this era of chasing championships. It’s gonna come to an end at some point, but just the appreciation that we’ve been able to create history together and the memories and moments, same way me and Seth when we were growing up watching our dad. The core memories of family experiences, fun, joy, and passion. I hope we’ve created that for each and every single one of you here.
