@GFNicotine I feel so close to the point raised about SA.

@Iam_Ogt @AskMichaelTaiwo I hear China made a special visa for STEM graduates. They may extend or perhaps already extended to the same. Canada had done something similar (need to verify facts though). But I watched a video from foreign minister announcing a modified program. Let me look for the link

They said I was finished. They mocked me when I ended up attending a community secondary school despite being my primary school’s best graduating pupil. They laughed when I failed to secure admission into the university while my high school peers moved ahead. They called me fragile, dropout-prone, a wasted talent. But what they didn’t see were the nights I cried in silence, the pain I carried, and the moments I almost gave up.

They never saw the midnight hours of intense reading and study, the nights I stayed awake writing essays, my Statement of Purpose, my academic CV, the endless revisions, the countless follow-ups with my recommenders, the cold emails I sent to professors that were never answered, the times I wrote to program directors for updates on my application only to be told they had moved on with other applicants, the rejection letters that piled up, the moments I nearly gave up on my dream.

To them, this Scholarships d’Or is just an award, but to me, it is a symbol of persistence and survival. Every scar, every setback, every sleepless night has brought me here. Though this award shines bright, my journey to it was written in the dark.

To those who believed in me when the world turned away, this is for you. And to those who doubted, thank you; you made me stronger.

This award is dedicated to all study abroad and scholarship enthusiasts hoping to land that life-changing global opportunity someday. You are not alone; your efforts are seen and will be rewarded soon.

@MtScholarships This is encouraging, I thought this scholarship only targets Nigerian nationals or say that Nigerian nationals have an upper hand. I was wrong… congratulations home girl @patriciabanda
