Nothing is more annoying than someone expecting you to be okay with something they’d lose their mind over if you did it to them. Hypocrisy at its finest.
A man who needs constant validation from women has already lost.
Validation is a drug. The more you seek it, the weaker you become.
Build something. Achieve something.
Then let your results speak..
Some of you really leave deep scars on people who came into your life with nothing but genuine love and good intentions. It’s sad how unfair, selfish, careless, and hurtful that can be. The worst part is giving someone another reason to stop believing in love altogether. But one thing remains true: what you put into the world always finds its way back to you.
At some point you really have to tell yourself "this is not an experience I want to keep having" and stop entertaining things that don't benefit you in any way.
IF THEY REALLY LOVE YOU... you'll feel it. They'll TALK to you like they love you. They'll RESPECT you like they love you. They'll CONSIDER you like they love you. They'll BEHAVE like they love you. They'll RESPOND to you like they love you. They’ll TALK to you like they love you. Most people confuse LOVE with FEELINGS. They FEEL for you but they don’t LOVE you. If they LOVE you, they would CHERISH you. You’re supposed to be the most IMPORTANT person in their life. If they can show up to their job, they can show up for YOU! If they can communicate with their boss, they can communicate with YOU! If they can make their kids a priority, they can make YOU a priority. If they can find time to watch TV, they can find time to spend time with you. Because if they LOVE YOU — they’ll treat YOU as good as they treat THEMSELVES. NEVER FORGET — there’s only TWO options. Either they DONT love you… or they don’t LOVE themselves. Because if they truly loved you… you’d FEEL it. Let’s be clear about ONE thing. You deserve the LOVE they give EVERYBODY else!
Once I mentally separate myself from a situation you'll never get the same me again! I'm somebody you gotta do right by the first time around because my mental detachment doesn't allow reconnection!
Especially because at my age it's hard to make sense out of another grown person trying to play in my face!! can't connect those dots!
There’s a type of heartbreak that doesn’t come from cheating or betrayal.
It comes from emotional neglect.
When someone is physically there, but mentally and emotionally absent.
You start adjusting yourself just to avoid conflict. And one day, you don’t even recognize who you became in the process.
