A special pre-match at The Racecourse today as we welcomed a couple of guests and took time to recognise the people who make our club what it is!

We were delighted to be joined by Pitching In representative Orlando Bell, alongside our local MP Jack Frankin, ahead of kick-off.

Pitching In continue to provide vital support for Step 3 and Step 4 clubs, and we’re incredibly grateful for the funding already received to help launch a second unified football team this year. We have also submitted a bid for further practical support for our junior coaches and are still awaiting the outcome.

During the visit, we were proud to celebrate four outstanding volunteers whose commitment goes above and beyond every week!

Dean has provided invaluable support to both his players and parents through extreme adversity over the last two months. I would like to thank him for this invaluable contribution.

🏅 Ryan Benzie (Under 14 Royals)
A long-serving coach and manager whose dedication and support for his teams and families over many years has been invaluable.

🏅 Clare McDonagh (U18 Diamonds)
From U11s to U18s, Clare has been a dedicated coach and manager for a number of years, playing a huge role in the development of girls’ and women’s football at Ascot United.

🏅 Neal Jeffs
Matchday programme editor since 2014, originally just for one season. Neal has now produced over 300 programmes and also provides match reports for both our men’s and women’s teams.

A huge thank you to Orlando and Jack for visiting, and to every volunteer who continues to give their time, energy and passion to our club.
