@dagger0621 Love it...our main character that we are developing is a quasi Micheal jai White type...same- hope I do it justice..I did some test runs and we have to make him look younger...and learn how to do it on iPad Pro...Im way behind a lot of you younger awesome artists!...
@dagger0621 In my day we used light boxes and magazines like Time- to recreate an iconic Vietnam scene for example, transplanted into a futuristic setting...trace the line art onto paper- reversed it onto canvas or other media and went to work to recreate the reference in a new context...
@dagger0621 I’m an old dog just starting with digital art...to me - if the objective is to use the reference to create a new piece that takes the minds of the viewer’s somewhere else- and propels your imagination- it’s good to go.
Not that I have a big fan base...(yet I hope)...but I have started another twitter account that will be exclusively for our star Wars inspired art- including illustrations and model development. It is called “Group Alpha”....hope that is good to go...
We’ll be finishing this paper Model getting it ready for a final display soon. It will be the subject of a lot of our drawings. It’s a ground attack Assault Speeder with 4 proton gravity bombs and strafing canons. #conceptart#starwarsart#starwarsfanart#shipdesign#scifiart
@TurbogenSpade @StarWarsArtwork Thank you for the encouragement....I really have a long ways to go. My niche is original sci fi paper crafted Models...but I enjoy developing stories so I need to expand my abilities...
Finished scene inspired by Solo- with an AT-ST Mark 3 from Star Wars Commander... this will be a part of a story board .....I still have a lot of learning to do... @StarWarsArtwork#fanart#lineart#illustrations#scifi
@Psygnosis73 @StarWarsArtwork Close bro...I used alcohol markers with pencil on top. I used to color some of my old anime with acrylic paints...but the detail I’m going for here makes it difficult- plus I’m way out of practice with all of it. Coloring was never my forte..
