Twitter just told me it’s my “X” anniversary and wants me to celebrate with a post using the hashtag #MyXAnniversary but I do not recognize X as my Twitter, so maybe I’ll celebrate by joining threads?
Let’s face it: you will have more options in life being bilingual. By improving multilingual education, we have a chance to lift up the opportunities our students.
We have an archaic assessment system based on standardized tests that don't begin to measure the full scope of what a student knows and is able to do.
These tests are flawed and biased—we must reimagine what assessments look like in this country.

If you think standardized tests are a reflection of the real-world, just ask yourself how many problems in the real world have only one correct solution.
Big shoutout to all the teachers out there who have been working hard all year to educate and support our young people! It's a fun job, it's an important job, and it's an exhausterwhelmulating job.
