That is what my art, my campaign, and my work have always been about.

Yes, they sued me off the ballot. Yes, Sandy Nurse, New Kings Democrats, Alan Gamboa, Christopher Tate, Mark Hanna, and others used the court system to try to stop this campaign instead of letting the people decide.

And yes, I believe that is deeply anti-democratic.

But sometimes what is meant to block you becomes the thing that opens the next door.

For years, people have told me I should build a real write-in campaign movement. Not just for one race. Not just for one office. But everywhere. A movement where people who feel ignored, lied to, pushed out, and uninspired can still write in hope.

I should have done this a long time ago.

So in a strange way, this is a blessing. A painful one, but still a blessing. Because now we are doing it.
