@defnotbeka My understanding is that it's a holdover, basically a heuristic that some viral/bacterial loads can survive for a prolonged period in particularly small long lasting droplets, and some can't. As with most heuristics it breaks when applied blindly as fact (as with early COVID)

@empressoffog it's definitely pricey per frame, but if you're taking the camera to document a trip or something it can be nice to have only a few frames to work with tbh
(also banger film!! i also really like the high ISO ones like t-max 3200-/)

@empressoffog really need to get back into analog photography, sadly all I have to photograph is trees and fields (no cool models/muses, devastating)

@empressoffog YEAH it's so fun, you can either just let light in and get all sorts of glare and effects or you can kinda try to use cloth to fake bellows - can do that weird miniature tilt-shift look really easily

@empressoffog hmm so I think both should work with adapters, if u can find them (or make them) - the minolta mount's flange distance seems super small so M42 (just) and T mount (defo) should both be able to go to infinity focus in theory
