I’m 33 years old. I remember when I was 18-19 going to house parties and there being 30 year olds there drinking. HOSTING THE PARTIES. Jesus yall were losers
Wife and kid are out of town for the weekend so I planned a whole warhammer weekend with some friends, brought ribs to grill, had drinks, hell even offered to pick them up so they wouldn’t have to worry about travel costs. They bailed on me lmfao
Logan: can you play that playlist with the sleepy music?
Me: idk what you’re talking about
Logan: it’s called night drive on your Spotify
Me: My drum and base playlist???
Logan: yeah that’s the one!
Me: shit alright dude
Today is my 1 year since I got into warhammer. Since then I’ve collected a full 2000+ point list for the following armies: Tyranids, necrons, custodes, drukhari, tau, death guard, thousand sons, salamanders, emperors children, CSM, Space wolves, custodes again, and SOB. Autism.
Keep it a stack, ever since I stopped playing For Honor and really leaned into my hobbying with warhammer, I’m genuinely happier. 0 desire to return to that game. I’m finally truly free
Bought this Mortarion model used, wasn’t keen on his paint job, so I got to work on breathing new life into him. I’m fairly happy with how he turned out.
Fully built and painted a solid 2000 point salamanders army in under 2 weeks. Even have extras for options in list building. Truly a generational hobby lock in
Idc what anybody says, at the end of the day warhammer is a game and I will treat it as such, sure playing salamanders with only flamers and melta weapons isn’t meta, but it’s funny and thematic, so imma do it. Is 9 broadsides in a tau list good? No. But it’s funny, so I do it.
Played my first game of Salamanders today. Played against necrons. Adrax Agatone tallied up 17 kills by himself. Here’s a picture of the last moments before the Necrons were eradicated
Kids are playing, house is clean, bills are paid, it’s the weekend, I’ve got minis to paint, new paint to use, and a new warhammer audiobook to listen to. Today’s gonna be a good day.
I cannot describe the hatred I have for batch painting. The monotony of it takes all the joy of painting away from me, but I cannot argue with the results and how much time it saves. Batch painted 20 infernus marines last night, near completion just gotta do some minor detail.
Ah the life of a chargers fan. It was fun for a few games. Sadly this franchise will always be plagued with injuries. The curse for having the best uniforms or something idk
