By the looks of skipped area the early (Apr 13) drone application of fertilizer (50 lbs N and 5 S) made a noticeable difference. Pic Apr 25 just after the remaining N and S application on Apr 24. Field is rye drone seeded into soy will be planted to corn then rye cut for baleage

Day Trips are a unique experience! Fly to Port Elgin or Kincardine on select dates, borrow the airport bicycles to ride the trails to the beach or into town for a meal, then meet your pilot back at the plane for your flight home. There was an interesting ship at the salt mine in Goderich today. The grey ship is what we saw today but the ship with the red deck is what we see nearly all the time.

A ship enthusiast said that the grey ship came in with a load of stone to unload at Goderich. It looks like it was being filled with salt after unloading the stone. It must have arrived and unloaded quickly because we flew over at 11:15am today and the ship wasn't in the harbour then, by 5:15pm it had already unloaded the stone and was being loaded with salt.

@kyledecorte It was interesting flying over yesterday a small area really got dumped on lots of water sitting and you could see how much had run across the fields. We have fields a mile from this one and only got about a quarter inch.
