I think the rejection of Arsenal and Liverpool made Caicedo an easier target for criticism from their fans and associated pundits for real. A lot of it is emotional, he picked the rival, so now he’s “not that good” or he’s just probably in form 😭 😭

Rivalry of fans aside there’s no way you watch Caicedo as a neutral and a football lover and still pick Rice over him. No disrespect to Rice, great ball carries and excellent with set pieces but overall Caicedo just ahead in midfield
