Menudo imbécil.
Habla cerca de las Playas de Normandía.
Conmemorando D-Day:
“Hoy llegan otros invasores con otras ideologías peligrosas a las playas de España, Italia, Grecia…”
Pobre hombre. Qué forma de ensuciar la memoria.
@ACT2CAM@IramiOF “Teach the lesson they can’t wait to turn up for” 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
So it’s up to the teacher to find a way to be more engaging, entertaining, and exciting than their smart phones/devices (which they are ubiquitously addicted to)?!? All on a budget that might get you some paperclips & tacks
@IramiOF LOL
Is this for real?
I teach HS. I offer opportunities & examples as to how learning impacts one's future. I have never & will never beg students to try nor give grades for free. If they refuse to try, they will fail my class.
THAT'S a teacher's job - not social promotion.
@IramiOF Just like the nature of parents is to raise their kids to do whats best for them even when they dont like it. Failed parents equates to failed children. Why should teachers be expected to succeed when those closest to the child have failed?
No, that's not the job. The job is to teach content by communicating in ways that are conducive to learning. It is not to be a life-coach, counselor, therapist etc. The "job" of the student is to show up ready to learn. It's the parent's responsibility to instill that in their own kids.
This is a total disgrace, on so many levels. It disrespects the veterans who fought at Normandy. It also dehumanizes immigrants as somehow being like a hostile army. Such a reprehensible display that is totally on brand for this administration.
Last year, Canada signed a free-trade agreement with Indonesia — our first with an ASEAN country. That’s expected to eliminate or reduce tariffs on 95% of Canadian exports to Indonesia, a country of more than 280 million people.
President @prabowo and I spoke today about how we can build on that and accelerate negotiations towards a broader Canada—ASEAN free trade agreement.

The heroes of Normandy deserve remembrance, gratitude and humility.
Using D-Day commemorations as a platform for culture-war politics is shameless. Yet that increasingly seems to be standard practice for the Trump administration.
This may well be the last time Europe extends an invitation to clowns to mark D-Day. Not a single person in the Trump administration comes close to having the character those landings demanded. The Americans who stormed those beaches on June 6, 1944 were fighting against exactly the kind of people Hegseth represents
The commemoration of the bravery, tragedy and importance of D-Day is not ever the place to try and score cheap political points. What an ignorant and disrespectful dumbass.
Nobody talks about the student who came ready to learn, sat through the disruption, said nothing, and fell further behind while every adult in the building focused on the one who made the most noise. She is still waiting for someone to notice she was there, too.
My Premier is out here doubling healthcare costs and funding a transition to US-style healthcare, and Manitoba gets Wab Kinew.
Lucky ‘Tobans.

@sarobertson_ Lol my my to use that quote as an example of Mark Carney's treatment of MPs tells me more about Chantel knowledge of the business world. You take your concerns and turn it into a positive by having a plan to fix it. Heard the same quote many times over my working career.
