Reflecting on shift - Sitting in the FRV on standby, in the same spot I was 4yrs ago as a student with my mentor, thinking back to 6yrs ago when I quit my job and decided to re-train, after a day of tough jobs I can't help but think ... It was worth every second!

My shift tonight had amazing examples of bystanders helping strangers involved in accidents...
The end of it had me backing out of an π with the CCTV recording and my hand on the emergency button getting abused by a patient who said it was ok because he paid with his taxes π
@peers_lewis Dont be afraid to ask for help - my first few weeks if I was with a Para started the shift by saying I hadn't been out in 6m due to covid so if I wasn't happy they were coming in the back & we were getting back up π
Everyone said they felt safer knowing I would ask for help π
