An #indiegame about an adventurous dragonboy in over his head. Bit of a Spyro homage. Currently posting art & #Blender3D/#Unity3D progress.

I need to make a big thread of all the progress I’ve made learning how to model and rig instead of just uploading whenever I feel an urge. Anyways, got an eye tracking rig set up and I’m super happy cause I had to use shape keys and had no idea what I’m doing #gamedev#Blender3D
I thought I was gonna have a very self-loathing, hating-everything, existential day today but instead I did the best thing ever: I blew off work and worked on my game 9-5 instead.
I feel SO good right now
Apologies once again for the lack of updates. The internet situation has been meh and I’ve been all over the place, but let me tell you: I got around half the animations done! For now, have Rayman Drake #GameDev#Blender3D
Don't worry, I've been working slowly yet surely. I'll start posting ALOT more once I get Drake's movement and model fully implemented. For now, have a MS Paint doodle. I have made one in a long while so I'm rusty.
I've been wanting to remake this comparison with the glide but trying to work the glide’s speed up & slow down on stick tilt has been an absolute headache because Playmaker’s “Set Controller Velocity” is fundamentally borked to the point I almost went pic related
I want to keep it in but the thing I'm worried about is it being too easy to execute (and thus can impede normal gameplay). Seems to happen if you approach a horizontal or vertical right angle precisely. It's hard to recreate intentionally yet easily unintentionally. We'll see.
So, I've been working on getting the variable jump mechanic to work right all day yesterday and in my testing... uhh... in my Spyro-like, I think I accidentally recreated proxy jumping. #Unity3D#gamedev
Started a new Unity project for this game now that I got most of the assets ready. I thought it might be a good idea to copy/paste everything from the test project...
