this account will remain as an archive (might private it if anything happens to twitter) for all my tweets but i’ll remain on @ParacelsusII full-time so this is just a formality
also on bluesky with the same @
Kept seeing people QT this person and genuinely assumed she was an actual French fascist. Turns out she's a Dem political strategist with "This Twitter account kills fascism" in her bio
@Srirachachau so many people spent their youth watching RLM and their takeaway was to become the things they made fun of but entirely unironically
and they’re shocked years later to see RLM still find those things, quite literally, ridiculous
contrast this with how 90% of the time nobody even know the supreme court is hearing a new case until every decision has already been made (bought and paid for)
the ideology required to think this system is MORE democratic is scary
ironic that the supposed ‘separation of powers’ ends up lending itself to more corruption and subversion of the popular will than the unified power socialist countries use
why have a supreme court, congress & president if neither will accept the will of the masses as inputs?
the only thing not up for debate in the ussr was the top-level leadership of the cpsu and the fact that socialism would be the governing ideology. *literally* everything else was ruthlessly deliberated on, critiqued, revised by popular input at every level from city to national.
@alexleonis and then there are people like the screecher’s reach sith who takes daal as an apprentice in star wars visions (still the best incarnation i’ve seen) who are straight up not even villains at all
so much more interesting that way
@alexleonis that said it’s a good sign how broad the range of dark side users is— the reason why i prefer magnetic polarity/yin-yang to describe the force to moral-coded dark/light framing
even if qimir is more straightforwardly ‘nefarious’ he’s as much at home in the dark side as kylo
